Singer, musician, songwriter, vocal coach, and minister of music—these are just a few of the gifts that define Memphis native, Minister Shawn Xavier Jones. Renowned for his exceptional leadership in music ministry and celebrated as a profound songwriter and independent artist, Shawn has made an indelible mark on the gospel music industry.

Since the release of his second single, *"We Offer Praise,"* featuring Carolyn Hinton-Wright, Shawn has earned six gospel award nominations, including Best Performance by a Group or Duo, New Artist of the Year, Praise and Worship Artist of the Year, and Female Quartet/Mix Group of the Year with the Rhythm of Gospel Awards Showcase. His group, Shawn Xavier Jones and The Company, brought home two prestigious awards in 2022: Praise and Worship Song of the Year and New Artist of the Year. In addition, Shawn's leadership and influence were recognized when he was appointed to the Executive Board of the Rhythm of Gospel Awards Showcase (ROGAS).

In 2020, during the global pandemic, Shawn felt a renewed calling to the studio, dedicating himself to sharing his God-given compositions and original works. His music reflects the influence of legendary gospel artists such as Kurt Carr, James Hall, Jonathan Nelson, Richard Smallwood, and the late Minister Thomas Whitfield, among others.
